The Mona Lisa was one of the famous painting in the world, personally I believe it still is. This artwork was created by Leonardo Da Vinci, who was an Italian artist. He not only dedicate art in his life but also science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, and many other areas. However, today this essay will only focus on the portrait he painted, Mona Lisa. Mona Lisa have many secrets, the date of this artwork is one of them. The time Leonardo worked on it remain mystery, but the â€Å"portrait was doubtless started in Florence around 1503.†1 This portrait is famous for various reasons. One reason is the portrait’s smile; the viewer often confused what is the lady smiling for. Another reason is Mona Lisa’s eyes. Many visitor mentioned that â€Å"Mona Lisa is always looking at you†2 no matter where you go. These mysterious aspects of Mona Lisa make this portrait become fascinating for people, and because of the mystery, it provides unlimited ways for people to interpret it.
